You are not alone if every now and again you feel defeated, overwhelmed, anxious and stressed.

 

And while there are plenty of things you can do to make yourself feel better and to ease the pressure, there is a lot to be said about the power of the spoken word.

 

If you are feeling a little defeated, take some time out to say one or all of the following mantras in front of the mirror - you will instantly feel a lot more positive:

7.  "Complaining is only making matters worse."

 

 

8. "Don’t worry, be happy."

 

 

9. "I am strong. I am beautiful. I am enough."

 

 

10. "Perfection is just a figment of human imagination."
