David Arquette, the forty-three-year old star of the Scream films, has blamed exhaustion and stress on a very public spat he had with his fiancee Christina McLarty in the middle of a West Hollywood street.The ex-husband of Courteney Cox was seen storming out of a well-known celeb eatery, followed by a very tearful Christina last Friday evening. The 33-year-old Entertainment Tonight reporter gave birth to the pair's son, Charlie, last April and it seems like the change in family dynamic has caused tensions to run high between the pair.
David, however, was keen to highlight the normality of the situation, saying: “It was simply an argument between two exhausted parents. We are both hormonal and haven't slept in six months. Christina is still breast feeding, I feel like I am.”
The argument which took place on Melrose Avenue has led to reports that the pair have called off their engagement, but David has vehemently denied these rumours, insisting they're still engaged and cheekily said: “See! Celebs are just like you!”
Indeed David, indeed!
