We were all left shocked and saddened when news emerged that over 290 people had passed away in Italy following a 6.2 earthquake.
Thankfully, a number of good stories followed the devastation: a 10-year-old girl was rescued after being trapped for 17 hours and a couple got married amongst the rubble.
And now a cat named Pietro has been found alive in Amatrice - an area particularly affected by the quake - 15 DAYS after the terrible quake struck.
According to Time, firefighters heard a faint meowing coming from the rubble and, after much searching, found his head before finally being able to free his trapped body.
Pietro was diagnosed with dehydration by a veterinarian in the city of Rieti and had a fractured jaw .
It is believed the feline survived by drinking rainwater.
