Beacon CARE Fertility offering world-leading fertility treatment to Irish couples
Beacon Medical Group, in partnership with CARE Fertility, will open a new clinic in Beacon Medical Campus, Dublin. The opening of this new fertility clinic is excellent news for couples struggling to become pregnant as it offers the very best and most advanced fertility treatment available.
CARE Fertility is the UK’s largest independent provider of fertility treatment. Beacon CARE Fertility will offer Irish couples all the latest therapies, many of which won’t be available anywhere else in the country. This means that patients will no longer have to travel abroad to receive the best fertility treatment.
Beacon CARE Fertility is the first Irish clinic to offer patients progressive and effective treatments like Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), Reproductive Immunology and Chromosome Screening (Array CGH). A unique egg freezing option will also be on offer, EVES, which has been proven to significantly improved success rates.
The fertility services that will be on offer at Beacon CARE Fertility clinic include:
- IVF/ICSI: Excellence in basic IVF technologies, which is essential and permits the successful introduction of more advanced methods
- Pre-implantations Genetic Diagnosis: This is for couples who are at risk of passing an inherited disorder on to their child. Beacon CARE Fertility will be the first provider of PGD in Ireland.
- Array CGH: A chromosome anomaly is a major cause of miscarriage and IVF failure. As age increases, so does the risk of this chromosome abnormality, where there is a loss or gain of one or more chromosomes. Array CGH increases the chance of having a healthy baby.
- Egg Vitrification Egg Storage (EVES): This is the most efficient way of freezing eggs with a freeze-thaw survival rate of over 85%. Previous rates are less that 50%.
- Reproductive Immunology: This method has helped hundreds of couples in the UK who suffer with recurrent IVF failures and miscarriages. It helps prevent the woman’s immune system from rejecting the implanting embryo.
- Embryo Imaging: CARE Fertility were the first clinic licensed to use this technology in the UK for clinical use.
