This is a really gorgeous book that is filled with over 80 deliciously scrumptious recipes for cakes, puddings, pies and lots, lots more. Edd appreciates the role cake plays in the important events that we all cherish as we go through life, lighting candles on birthdays, icing fruit cakes at Christmas time, creating elegant white towers for Weddings and simple celebratory cakes for christenings. Edd’s recipes are not only mouth-wateringly delicious but thankfully easy to follow and guaranteed to work every time.
Regardless of whether you are a baking novice or a genius with a whisk, there is something to be learned from this book. ‘Say it with Cake’ is divided into four chapters; birthdays and parties, romance, festive and afternoon tea & picnics, each of which features some truly mouth-watering cakes and bakes.
