Powerscourt will be hosting fantastic Halloween activities this October to help keep children entertained all midterm.

Events will be starting on Monday 7th October at Tara’s Palace where there will be a daily children’s quiz throughout the month. Kids will also enjoy guessing the size of the pumpkin to win great prizes.

The Perils of Powerscourt will see ghosts and ghouls stepping out to play on Monday 28th Oct.  Families will get to explore the grounds of Powerscourt where they will encounter some spooky characters on their travels. Groups will be given a map to help them reach their destination at the chilling Pets' Cemetery, and mums, dads and their kids are all encouraged to come dressed up.

Pumpkin carving will take place on Sunday 27th and Monday 28th Oct. Children will get a chance to prepare, design and carve a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch. There will be delicious treats for everyone and little ones can come dressed up to get them in the festive mood.

The festivities will end on Thursday 31st Oct. with a fancy dress competition at Tara’s Palace where the kids will also get to make their very own ghost puppets.
