Bia Lover Festival of Food 2014

The Bia Lover Festival of Food takes place in Athenry, Co. Galway between 20th – 22nd June 2014.

 

The family-friendly festival promotes food and drink from both Galway and the West of Ireland in general and is sure to be a greta day out for the whole family.

 

There will be around 70  artisan producers selling their goods over the weekend and you are sure to pick up something delicious for dinner.

 

The festival is located just beside the Clarin River and there will be cookery demonstrations and cook-off competitions for the keen chef.

 

While the kids might not be interested in the food aspect, they are sure to be kept entertained by stilt walkers and face-painters.

 

There will also be a Petting Farm from Turoe, balloon entertainment, and hot-air ballon rides for those feeling a little adventurous.
