Boyne Music Festival 2014

The Boyne Music Festival will take place from the 1st - 3rd August, 2014 in Townley Hall, Drogheda.

 

In its second year, this festival will be three days of world-class music, poetry and song, with performances by established artists including Rita Manning, Chris Laurence, Louis Stewart, Layla Claire and John Chest.

A Gala Concert will open the three day event and a children’s workshop based on the theme Dances from Around the World will take place on Saturday. Here children will be able to play instruments, sing and even compose music.

 

There will also be a Family Concert on the Saturday, suitable for the young and old, and an evening of jazz for the adults.

 

Other highlights include a talk on the life and work of Seamus Heaney, performances from the  Royal Irish Academy of Music and guided tours of the magnificent Townley Hall to name a few.
