Mountains to Sea dlr Book Festival

The Mountains to Sea dlr Book Festival takes place this year on Friday, 12^th to Sunday, 14^th September.

 

There are a number of events planned for the weekend but there is a special programme aimed at families and kids.

 

Highlights of the festival include My Favourite Superheroes with Alan Nolan taking place on the Saturday morning in County Hall, The Dahl Factor in the afternoon and The Great Teddy Bear Library Sleepover in the evening, although it will just be the bears staying.

 

There are a number of fantastic events happening on the Sunday as well including the Where’s Wally Library Hunt and Picture Book Picnic in the morning and a Teen Creative Writing Workshop and Yasmeen Ismail  Illustration Masterclass in the afternoon.

 

Not all events are free but they are reasonably priced making them accessible for most families.
