We all want our children to recognise the importance of having a balanced diet and keeping active for their overall health, so that they can make the right choices now and in their future.

Moo Crew, the Primary Dairy Moovement, is an exciting initiative from the National Dairy Council where pupils from 1st-6th class explore the benefits of healthy eating, physical activity and the story of dairy, from farm to fridge. Free lesson plans, along with activities, videos, lunchbox tips and web-based classroom resources are available to download as part of an interactive website.

Cheddar cheese is made during the spring, summer and autumn months. This is when cows are out in the fields and eat fresh grass which gives cheddar a lovely flavour and yellow colour!
