For one night only, MummyPages will join forces with renowned Chef Neven Maguire to cook up a storm!
We are delighted to announce that one of Ireland’s best known and loved chefs, Neven Maguire, will be joining us on Wednesday, 15th May 2013 to demonstrate a range of mouth-watering meals and raise funds for the Sam McMahon Trust.
You will recognise Neven from his popular TV cookery programmes such as Home Chef and Cooking with Love, and much-loved recipe books like Neven’s Real Food for Families, The MacNean Restaurant Cookbook and Food from the Sun.
Prepare for an evening of delicious recipes, tricks from the trade, refreshments and fabulous raffle prizes – including a voucher for dinner and bed & breakfast for two at his award winning MacNean House and Restaurant! In addition to watching a true Master at work, each attendee will receive a special event exclusive booklet containing a selection of delicious recipes from some of Neven’s most treasured cook books.
The money raised from this event will be used to support the treatment of a little boy suffering from a rare degenerative illness that has no cure, Friedreich’s Ataxia. A trust has been set up in the little boy’s name, the Sam McMahon Trust, and the funds raised will help to support his trips to the USA for treatment. FARA Ireland, the Irish charity set up for this illness, will also benefit from this fundraiser.
