Paradox Omega 3 chews boost kid's brainpower

Omega 3 oil has been proven to benefit children’s academic performance. Children who have taken omega oil capsules consistently over a six-month period have shown a significant improvement in their studies. It has been proven to improve levels on concentration and so increases academic ability in both primary and secondary school children.

Dr. Geoff Hayhurst, a leading osteopath is the founder of Paradox Omega Oil and has launched an omega 3 enriched chew designed specifically for children to help with their concentration, as well as improving their skin hair, eyes and energy levels.

Dr. Hayhurst discovered that blending high quality fish oils with specific polyphenois from olives delivered several health benefits. However, it was his sons William and James, two medical students, who took their father’s idea and created chews that are specifically geared towards children and teenagers. The chews are combined with a lemon flavour oil, making them more enjoyable for kids.

Paradox Omega-3 Chews have 45 chews in each box. They are aimed at between age 5 and 18. Each chew contains the omega-3 from 1 portion of oily fish, the easy way to get your kids to take 1 portion of fish a day.

Omega oils should also be taken during pregnancy as they are of benefit to both the mum-to-be and her baby. Research suggests that eating oily fish during pregnancy can boost the child’s future brainpower and social skills. Studies also suggest that low levels of omega oil during pregnancy can lead to the child having behavioural problems later in life.

Paradox has launched an omega oil product suitable for pregnant women, Paradox Mums to Be and Baby not only contains the omega oils needed during pregnancy but also has vitamins D3 and E.

As well as the health benefits of Paradox, it is very easy to take and there are no fish oil side effects like rancid flavour and fishy burps that are common with other capsules.

Paradox Mums to Be and Baby are priced at £9.99/€13.99. Paradox Kids Chews are priced at £11.99/€14.99. Both products are available from independent pharmacies and health food stores across Ireland
