When Prince George turned two years old last week, many people posed the question of what you give to the future king on his big day. Well, it seems that proud grandfather Prince Charles made the perfect choice to mark his eldest grandchild’s second birthday.

According to reports this week, Charles gifted little George with a mini ‘cottage on wheels’, to play in when he comes to visit his granddad in Highgrove.

As you can imagine, this super-duper cottage is a far cry from your average Wendy House – not only does it cost a whopping £18,000, but it also features its own wood-burning stove and day-bed.

Prince Charles has done a lot of work with the Prince’s Trust, and this Victorian-style outhouse is said to have been given to the 65-year-old by a company that was founded with the help of the organisation.

While the cottage sounds like a pretty amazing gift in itself, it also emerged today that Prince Charles has made another lovely gesture for his grandson – he has had the treehouse in which William and Harry once played refurbished.

We reckon Prince George will be spending a lot of time with his grandfather from now on!
