Lamb meatballs
Meatballs are a firm favourite with many kids. They are also great for freezing so why not make a extra batch and freeze it for another day.

2 tbsp olive oil

2 onions, very finely chopped

4 garlic cloves, crushed

2 tsp each ground cumin

1 tsp spoon of tomato paste

½ tsp sugar

500g pack lean lamb mince

50g fresh breadcrumbs

100g tomato sauce

Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan and gently cook the onions until they are soft.

Add the garlic and cumin and cook for a further 3 minutes.

Spoon the onion mix into a small bowl and combine with the lamb mince, tomatoes, sugar and seasoning.

Add the breadcrumbs and shape into little individual balls.

Heat the rest of the oil in the pan and place the meatballs in the pan and fry until golden.

Spoon the meatballs into a bowl and top with your tomato sauce.

Serve with a salad.
