As anyone else in Rochelle Humes' situation will know, the last thing you want to do after just welcoming a baby into the world is put your glad rags on and head out for a night on the town.
This was the case for the former star of The Saturdays, as she celebrated her 28th birthday yesterday – but husband Marvin knew exactly how to handle this one.
Gushing wife Rochelle, who welcomed the couple’s second child – daughter Valentina – almost a fortnight ago, revealed that Marvin had the chef from her favourite restaurant come over to their home to cook dinner.
Posting a photo collage featuring her gorgeous newborn along with some delicious-looking food, Rochelle wrote: “When it’s your birthday and you want to celebrate, but you have a newborn that you can’t tear yourself away from, and he brings one of your favourite restaurants and their chef to you.”
We think Rochelle is really hitting the nail on the head when she describes former JLS star Marvin as a ‘keeper’!
Needless to say, the post left Rochelle’s legion of social media fans feeling weak at the knees and full of praise for Marvin. Plenty of fellow mums could relate to her desire to stay at home with her newborn, too.
“I know what you mean. I’ve got three lovely children and couldn’t put them down. Enjoy it now, ‘cause they grow up so fast,” advised one follower.
It seems like Rochelle truly had the happiest birthday yet, with three-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai also getting in on the action – in the most hilarious way possible!
Rochelle went on to share a photo of a scrumptious-looking red velvet birthday cake from her two daughters, and gave an adorable insight into how her special day began.
“Got woken up this morning to the fire alarm going off, Stevie Wonder blaring, a flustered Marv, crying Valentina, and Alaia slapping me in the face…I do love my crazy family,” she wrote. How many of us can relate to that?!
It sounds like Rochelle had an extra-special birthday this year, after welcoming little Valentina Raine on March 10. We're loving the cute Insta-insights.
