This fun game will encourage your child’s creativity and imagination and teach everyone about team work.
What you’ll need
- Light fabric
- Thumbtacks
- Lamp
- Old clothes
- To create the stage, hang a long but light piece of material in a wide doorway. You can secure the top of the fabric into the top of the doorframe using thumbtacks. This can be pulled back during the performance.
- Face some table or desk lamps towards the stage to create spotlights.
- Help the children come up with an original script or pick a favourite story and assign parts.
- Make costumes from old clothes lying around the house.
- Let the kids perform their play for you and the other parents.
