It seems maternity leave has given pet owners an idea of their own with “paw-ternity” now becoming the norm for several companies in the UK.
That’s right, many companies in the UK are now offering paid leave for employees with expectant pets.
The US pet insurance company Petplan had found that nearly 5% of pet owners were allowed to take several days of “paw-ternity” leave.
These days can be used to care for new arrivals or if a pet is sick.
This story received quite the feedback online with pretty mixed responses.

With both for and against supporters having their say online, it's clear that everybody no matter what their stance is a little confused.
