Singer Chris Brown is reportedly filing for joint custody of daughter Royalty, claiming that mum Nia Guzman’s former partner is a bad influence and wanted by the police.
The Beautiful People star is believed to be countering dancer Guzman’s sole custody plea after discovering that her now ex-boyfriend, King Ba, is wanted on fraud charges. It has also emerged that Ba, real name Brazil Riesling, is listed on Royalty’s birth certificate.
Sources close to 26-year-old Brown say that he is afraid that Riesling will put Royalty in danger, and he is subsequently demanding equal parental rights at this month’s upcoming court hearing.
Chris and Guzman have had a tempestuous relationship so far as they attempt to co-parent their one-year-old daughter, with Brown recently taking to Twitter to slam Guzman for ‘using their child as leverage’.
“Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers. I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets,” he wrote, earlier in August.
Let’s hope these two can reach an amicable solution, for the sake of their tot.
