Ten things moms can’t live without
Before we became mums the ‘essentials’ list was quite different. We couldn’t live without a hair straightner, full make-up, sleep, sex, showers and Sky Plus. Since having our babies though, what were once absolute necessities are now luxuries. We don’t have time to straighten our hair, put on all our make-up, watch tv or have showers. And of course without sleep, there isn’t going to be much energy for sex. So instead we now rely on other essentials to get us through the day.
- Coffee, coffee and more coffee
- Smart phone (it remembers things that our sleep-deprived brains simply can’t)
- Control knickers and push-up bra
- Babywipes…they are in the car, in every handbag, in the buggy and in every room of the house.
- Comfy pants
- Sunglasses (to hide the bags under the eyes)
- Concealer (to hide the bags under the eyes when indoors)
- Hair bobbles and clips
- Dishwasher
- More coffee
