Spanish tennis-ace Rafael Nadal has shown his softer side recently, after he stopped a game to help search for a missing child.

Rafael was playing in a doubles match with Simon Solbas in Mallorca, when he noticed a commotion in the crowd.

A mother was crying out to a steward that her daughter had gone missing and, according to The Sun, Nadal stopped the exhibition game against Carlos Moya and John McEnroe to see what was going on.

The 30-year-old, along with the rest of the 7,000-strong crowd quickly looked around for the youngster.

Thankfully, the little girl, was found safe and well - although a little shaken up - and was reunited with her mother.

Once everything had died down, the game was then resumed with Nadal and Solbas going on to win.
