Dublin’s newest restaurant, The Old Music Shop, has just opened its doors on North Frederick Street in Dublin 1.

Situated at the heart of one of Dublin’s most popular tourist areas, and one that is fast becoming the foodie hub of the city, the Old Music Shop offers a fresh take on Irish and European cuisine in a contemporary setting.

Located in the old Walton’s Music Shop from which it takes its name, the restaurant’s setting is steeped in history. Sitting at the side of The Castle Hotel, which dates back to 1809, it was once a safe-haven for volunteers during the War of Independence.

Open from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm, the Old Music Shop serves up something for every hungry patron, from bustling breakfast to luscious lunch, and intimate evening meals.

And as well as serving as a comfortable haven for tired shoppers and business meetings, the restaurant also offers private dining rooms that can cater for up to sixty guests.
