Bumps come in many different sizes: small and neat, big and round and those in the middle.

And while it’s expected that every pregnancy is different, unfortunately, along with the normal pregnancy ailments, mums who have a big bump have a few other things to deal with!

Putting on socks

You can’t even see your feet, never mind try to get socks on! And even if you do manage to get a pair on, the journey's not over yet - you still need to get your shoes on!

Putting on clothes in general

Absolutely nothing fits and it’s not for want of trying. You have literally spent the last 20 minutes pulling out everything from your wardrobe before crying in a ball on the floor! You’ll eventually resign yourself to the fact that you’ll need to wear your tracksuit for the next four months...

Getting out of the car

When you are seven months pregnant and carrying a big bump around with you, once you get in the car, that’s it, you’re in until baby arrives!

Sitting down in a chair

Who would have thought that the very thoughts of sitting down in a chair would send shivers down your spine.

Walking in general

Grace has literally gone out the window when you have a big bump; waddling down the road, hands on your back, you really don’t care who stares!

Bumping into people

You refuse to believe your bump is that big until you accidently knock someone over with one swipe – total accident you swear!

You have to deal with the ‘I’m huge’ issue way sooner

Every pregnant woman feels huge – but you’ll feel it a lot sooner and for a lot longer then others!

The stares

People are rude and they do stare at you when you are wobbling down the road – just start putting on labour noises and watch them run!
