It’s very hard for parents to see their children in pain and while many instances of pain can be looked after at home, sometimes they can become serious. Contact your doctor immediately if you are worried about any of the following:
  • Your child’s pain won’t go away.
  • You notice your child avoids moving in certain ways.
  • Your child is sweating, pale or vomiting.
  • They are either agitated or completely withdrawn and unresponsive
  • There is an obvious cause for the pain, such as a fall or a burn.
Remember you know your child best, so if you think they are unwell, or if you are worried in any way, always speak to your doctor.
