Let’s be honest, the past few months have been hectic, with organising Christmas and figuring out New Year's plans, we haven't had a chance to properly take time for ourselves and relax. Now more than ever we want to surround ourselves with friends and family and so many loved ones as we celebrate the festive period together.

We've loved doing the Christmas shopping, wrapping presents and visiting friends, but it can all get overwhelming.

That’s why we’ve pulled together a list of 10 simple things you can do this evening, as an act of self care, to help make this busy time a bit more relaxing for you.

  1. Paint your nails

  2. Re-watch your favourite childhood movie

  3. Start a new book

  4. Light a scented candle


  5. Go on a walk

  6. Eat some chocolate

  7. Do a face mask

  8. Change your bedsheets

  9. Write your thoughts down in a journal

  10. Have a bubble bath
