There is no better way to begin the day than with some joyous celebrity news, and that is exactly what we have for you this morning, thanks to popular Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley.
The actress has delighted fans this week with the release of the first photos from her recent wedding to partner Tom Pitfield.
Catherine, who is best known for playing the role of Eva Price on the soap, tied the knot with Tom on 21st May in Cheshire’s Colshaw Hall. The pair then posed for photos, surrounded by the star’s Corrie cast mates, for Hello! magazine.
Speaking to the magazine after becoming Mrs Pitfield, the 32-year-old said of the ceremony: “It was my dream come true. I had been looking forward to this moment for so long. Tom and I are very traditional, and it was important for us to show our deep commitment to each other.”
Among those in attendance on the big day was Shayne Ward, who apparently flexed his vocal cords and serenaded the newlyweds.
The couple are, of course, parents to a 14-month-old son, Alfie.
