He's generally known for his incredibly sweet social media uploads - footage which feature father / son excursions and family singalongs - but it looks like Tom Fletcher of McFly fame may have gone one step too far when offering an insight into family life today.
The much-loved musician, who is currently expecting his second child with wife of almost four years, Giovanna, took to Twitter and Instagram earlier today in order to share a snap of certain household object which has been given a very special purpose.
Placing his face behind a tupperware container, the 30-year-old popstar, who is the proud dad of 23-month-old son Buzz, wrote: "You will never guess what this Tupperware box is for..." before hashtagging the word 'placenta'.
While a number of messages suggested support for the couple's apparent endeavour, it looks like the London-native had a change of heart with regards the nature of his upload and took to Twitter to apologise.
Retweeting a message which read: "You share way too much on here", Tom acknowledged the post before apologising for his earlier contribution to social media, writing: "OK it's probably a little early on a Monday for placenta related tweets. Sorry."
Fans of the stars replied to the tweet in their droves, with one writing: "Too early?! It's always too early."
Echoing their fellow social media user's sentiments, another fan of the star admitted: "I've had about three hours sleep and read it on the train. Not what I wanted my first thought fo the week to be."
We really hope this doesn't put Tom off sharing any more snapshots and insights into one of our favourite celeb families!
