They exchanged vows over a week ago, and finally the first photos of Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie’s wedding to Sylvain Longchambon have been released.
The couple, who met when they were paired together on ITV’s Dancing On Ice, have shared exclusive shots from their special day with OK! magazine.
Covering the latest issue, mum-of-two Samia looked stunning in an ivory embellished gown with sweetheart neckline, with Sylvain donning a dark grey suit and lemon tie for the big day.
The couple’s 11-month-old son, Yves, is also seen beaming on the magazine’s cover, alongside six-year-old Freya; Samia’s daughter with ex-husband Matt Smith.
In the accompanying interview, 34-year-old Samia revealed the special role Freya played on the day.
“Freya walked me down the aisle. I didn’t want her to give me away as she’s never going to have to give me away in her life, so she walked me down the aisle as Sylvain is getting Freya as well,” she explained.
The couple held their nuptials at Delamere Manor, Cheshire – a country estate once owned by Take That singer Gary Barlow - surrounded by loved ones and co-stars.
It looks like the family had a wonderful day. We’re wishing them nothing but happiness in their future together.
