The former couple, who were married for 18 years, put on a very amicable display to celebrate their daughter Stella’s graduation.
Proud mum Melanie took to her social media channels to mark the special occasion, posting a series of gorgeous family shots on Instagram.
Underneath a beautiful picture of herself and The Mask of Zorro star Antonio with their beaming daughter, Melanie wrote: “Mama, Stella and Papi. Our angel is amazing. Beginning the next chapter of her life! Freedom!!”
Another shot showed just how close all the family are still, with Antonio posing with Stella’s siblings and grandmother, Tippi Hedren.
Melanie reportedly filed for divorce from Antonio in June of last year, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. In a statement issued by the couple, they insisted that the break-up was entirely amicable.
“We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalise our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner, honouring and respecting each other, our family and friends, and the beautiful time we have spent together,” they wrote.
It’s great to see how close the family still are.
