The producer and actress met Jackman on the set of Correlli over two decades ago and have been inseparable since their first date.

Hugh spoke about their early days, revealing that; “A few weeks into my relationship with Deb, she said, ‘By the way, do you think this is going anywhere? I’m going to live in New York.’"

How did they maintain such a healthy relationship? Apparently Deborrah's rule of never spending more than two weeks apart has withstood the test of time.

The 50-year-old actor revealed his wife's secret: “She has the two-week rule. No roles that take you away that long. That was that rule, which we’ve kept for 25 years.”

The pair are insistent that trust will always be the priority for them as a couple, and it must be working; they seem as in love as ever.

“Even if it’s embarrassing, even if you’re shameful, even if you’ve screwed up, be honest,” said Hugh. “If you can trust each other, that’s better. She knows more about me than anybody else.”

Deborrah as well as their children, 18-year-old Oscar and 13-year-old Ava will join Hugh on his world tour in the spring.

The happy family deserve all their joy, considering their secret rule must have been difficult for such a high-profile actor.
