Katie Price has admitted to being shocked by some of the content son Junior has received on his phone – from girls his own age.

The 39-year-old opened up about her strict rules for using technology in her house, during an appearance on the Loose Women panel.

Mum-of-five Katie admitted that she goes through her older children’s phones and advises them on what not to post. If they ‘break her trust’, their phones are confiscated – and she makes sure that she has their passwords so that she can check in on them, too.

It seems Katie is conscious of the fact that her ‘little’ ones are getting older now, and she is cautious about keeping an eye – especially on her son Junior’s activity.

Katie admitted that she was completely taken aback by some of the content she found on the 12-year-old’s phone.

“There are girls on Junior’s phone that I’ve blocked. They’re 12-year-olds, and I can’t believe what they send,” she said.

“I can’t believe there are girls like that who send stuff like that…I go through his notes, too.”

Katie previously came under fire for letting Junior and his little sister, 10-year-old Princess have their own Instagram accounts.

According to the terms and conditions of Instagram, an individual has to be at least 13 before they can create an account. This was the main point of criticism against Katie, when Junior and Princess launched their own channels a year ago.

Others, meanwhile, were particularly concerned about the fact that the profiles – which were public at the time – were opening the children up to online contact from strangers.

Katie – who is also mum to 15-year-old Harvey, four-year-old Jett, and three-year-old Bunny – was quick to defend the move.

“I find it an absolute insult when people give me stick. I’m a really good mum, and I’ll protect them with my heart,” she said, at the time.

“They are now being booked themselves for TV shows, modelling jobs – this and that; and social media is the future.

She also admitted that it was after a lot of pressure from the kids – whose friends were all on the photo-blogging site – that she finally gave her permission.

What do you think of Katie’s attitude towards her children’s use of phones?
