Little North West has a closet to rival to her stylish mum's and is always seen wearing the latest trends.

However, recently, a dress worn by the little girl caused a stir on social media, when some thought the four-year-old was wearing a corset.

Turns out, North’s “corset” was simply a layer of fabric over the front of her dress, laced up to give it a corset-like effect.

A furious Kim took to social media to hit back at claims that she’d made her daughter wear a corset. Kim shared a video of the tangerine slip dress on Twitter, showing it from all angles to prove it was not a corset.

Alongside the video, she wrote: “I would never put my daughter in a corset! It’s a dress I bought that is a cotton fabric that laces up and looks like a corset! Just decoration.”

As she showed off this unique dress, Kim said: “This dress, that I did not design - I actually bought it - is not a corset. It’s just fabric on the front that makes it look like a corset. I think it’s really cute. I bought it from a designer. It’s just fabric people."

Despite this, many people still felt the dress was inappropriate for a four-year-old. “She is cute but that outfit is ridiculous,” one wrote on Instagram.

While another said: “Nope...completely wrong. What was Kim thinking? Let her be a child...she's already cute.”

Kim has also faced backlash over her new clothing line for Kids’ Supply. Kim shared photos of some of the products on her social media, and parents were none too happy with certain designs, particularly a leopard print slip dress and an orange velour bikini.

One retweeted a photo of the leopard print dress which has a slit in the side, and lace trim: “This is a dress from Kim Kardashian’s Kids’ Supply clothing line… super inappropriate, no?”

The tangerine bikini also caused controversy, with one parent writing: “I’ve never had a problem with two-pieces for kids until now… really @KimKardashian how is this appropriate?”

Other disgruntled parents vowed that they wouldn’t be buying anything from the new range.

One Twitter user said: “Safe to say I will not be putting my daughter in any of this.”

Another agreed: “I’m not dressing my four-year-old daughter in a leopard and lace slip dress.” While others pointed out the designs looked more like lingerie than kids' clothing.

Maybe it’s time for Kim to go back to the drawing board and rethink her designs! What do you think, mums?
