With media attention focussing predominantly on her changing family dynamic and subsequent new arrival in recent weeks, it can be easy to forget the tireless work Kate Middleton does for charities across the UK.

Eager to remind the public of the causes she supports, the Duchess of Cambridge penned a letter urging people to support her much-loved charity, Children's Hospice.

Since becoming a patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices in January 2012, Kate has raised awareness of the charity and is seeking the support of the public during Children's Hospice Week.

Explaining the importance of the charity, Kate wrote: "For families of children with life-limiting conditions, every moment is precious and every memory needs to be cherished and celebrated."

Paying tribute to the organisation in a letter which was released by Charity Together for Short Lives, the mum-of-two explained: "Children's hospices strive to create happy moments in the most difficult times any family could face."

Hoping to rally support for the incredibly worthy charity, Prince William's wife finished by saying: "I hope you will join me in supporting Children's Hospice Week and work to make every moment count for all of our families."

By sharing a memorable moment on social media, the public will be supporting the important week which will run until May 17th.
