This was exactly the case for Kim Kardashian and North West this week, when the two-year-old took her style choices into her own hands.
While we are used to seeing little North dressed in the finest bespoke designer clothing, her own outfit of choice could not have been further away from the norm!
Amused mum Kim took to Instagram to share a photo of her gorgeous daughter wearing a vest, a unicorn backpack and a Minnie Mouse helmet – all the while clutching a floral umbrella, mid-tantrum.
“The struggle is real! We cannot go out of the house like this!!! LOL,” wrote Kim, who is pregnant with her second child.
It seems that poor North was able to find a way around her famous mum however, as the next snap revealed their ‘compromise’. Sadly, there was no sign of the Minnie Mouse helmet, but her adorable unicorn backpack and sweet umbrella were on full display!
How many of us have been through this exact same experience? We just love this.
