Melanie Brown, a.k.a. Mel B, had a rough year last year, but she credits her kids for helping her pull through.
Her and her husband of 10 years, Steven Belafonte, split last year after Mel accused him of physical and emotional abuse.
But it has been nearly a year since then and the mum appears to be well on the road to discovering the truth to happiness.
When she is not judging on America’s Got Talent, the former Spice Girl spends quality time with her daughters at home.
In a sweet post, the mum shared photos of her and her daughter Madison catching some shut eye.
Snuggled up together, the six-year-old sleeps peacefully on her mother’s chest.
“I don’t want to be anywhere else,” Mel said.
The precious moment means the world to the doting mum and shows just how much love she holds in heart for her children.
Mel shares Madison with her ex Steven and is also mum to two other daughters: 19-year-old Phoenix with her first husband Jimmy Gulzar and 11-year-old Angel fathered by Eddie Murphy.
The mum announced earlier this year that she planned on writing a book on ‘the chain of abuse’ in order to empower her three daughters.
Titled Brutally Honest, the book, Mel claims, will show her girls “how to break the chain of abuse—along with any other woman who reads this book”.
We are happy that the mum is treasuring these moments with her little one and wishes to instil strength in her daughters’ character.
