Easy cheese biscuits
The kids will love these biscuits and adults will like them too.

100g plain flour

100g butter - soft

100g mature cheese - grated

Coarse sea salt (optional)

Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4 and lightly grease a baking sheet.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to form a dough.

If it’s a little dry and not sticking, add a little water.  Bring together with your fingers.

Roll out on a lightly floured surface to about ½ cm thickness and cut into your desired shape with a cookie cutter.

Sprinkle coarse sea salt over the biscuits if being prepared for adults - don't do this for kids. 

Bake for around 10 minutes until golden colour.  

Remove from oven and cool on tray for 5 minutes, before moving to a wire rack to cool fully.
