10 quick and easy steps to a clean bathroom

When it comes to cleaning the house the bathroom is always on the end of our to-do list. Being one of the most frequently used rooms in the home it is not surprising that it can get a little, eh, messy.

But you don’t need to spend a long time tirelessly scrubbing floors and surfaces, in fact, fifteen minutes is all you really need.

  1. Spray shower/ bath floor, hose and sides with foam disinfectant. Leave to work while you do the rest.
  2. Pour bleach under the rim of the toilet bowl. Again leave to work for a few minutes.
  3. Take all items off the shelf and wipe down with disinfectant and a clean cloth.
  4. Clean the mirror, removing any streaks with scrunched up newspaper.
  5. Rinse out the toothbrush holder and again wipe down with disinfectant spray to remove any germs.
  6. Rinse off the foam around the shower/bath.
  7. Scrub the toilet with a toilet brush and then flush to remove the bleach.
  8. Wipe the flusher, toilet seat and cistern with a clean cloth and disinfectant spray.
  9. Remove old handtowels and replace with clean one.
  10. Finally give the floor a quick vacuum and wipe over with floor cleaner.
