Dusting is definitely one of those jobs that is never ending and when you think you have finally got on top of it, you find a few dust bunnies an hour or two later.

While you definitely won’t be dust-free forever, the following tips will at least help to reduce the number of times you need to wipe it away.

Use a microfiber cloth

A microfiber cloth will pick up the dust rather than simply spreading it around like traditional cloths.

Wet the area

Wet the area using a spray polish to make it easier to gather the dust up into your cloth.

Clean your vents out

Air vents are often forgotten about when cleaning the house but they can blow dust around when you turn them on. Make sure you clean them regularly with your vacuum cleaner.

Dust, vacuum, dust

Vacuuming can cause dust to rise up and move around, so wipe down the high shelves first then vacuum before dusting areas that you haven't done.
