General guidelines on posting on the MummyPages groups and forums
  • Be nice - please respect the feelings and opinions of others in your postings and don't attack anybody - this includes but is not limited to users, other people and institutions. 
  • Be careful about what you write - just like a newspaper or magazine the laws of libel apply.
  • Please note that authors are personally liable for the contents of their posting. 
  • Please do not reveal any personal information about yourself or your family - especially email addresses and/or phone numbers. 
  • Please do not insult, abuse or be nasty to anyone else on the boards – everyone is entitled to their different opinions.
  • Write what is relevant to you – you’re the expert after all. And there are lots of people out there who want to hear, and value your opinion.  So don’t be afraid to right about your experiences as regularly as you like.
  • Do not post any material that is copyrighted unless you are the copyright owner, you have permission to do so or you are confident that the use of copyrighted material is permitted as ‘fair use’.
  • Do not post any material that is obscene, defamatory, profane, libellous, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, embarrassing to another person or entity, or violates the privacy rights of another. Do not post material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms or any other computer code that is intended to be harmful, to damage or interfere with or intercept any system, data or information.
  • If you would like to report an inappropriate post, please click the “Report abuse” link where available or email hq [at] mummypages.ie or PM MummyPagesSocial. 
 
If you don’t abide by our rules and guidelines, we reserve the right to stop publishing your blog, and to block you from the community.
 
Commercial posts
 
We love the fact that you want to reach our audience however there is always a time and place.  
 
Please note that commercial posts from:
  • shops and businesses
  • service providers such as baby equipment, baby massage, baby gifts, maternity clothes etc.
  • online stores and other websites
  • and any type of self-promoting posts 
are not permitted on the forums and MummyPages reserves the right to delete or amend commercial posts if deemed necessary.

Terms & Conditons
The MummyPages Community blogs section is automatically updated with your blog as soon as you create a new one.  As a user of the website, you may post blogs, comments and submit questions or other information as long as the content is not illegal, obscene, abusive, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellection property rights, or otherwise injurous to third parties, or objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of ‘spam’. You may not use a fake email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of any content. MummyPages.ie reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit any content. If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise you permit:
- Mummypages.ie and it’s affiliates a non-exclusive, royalty-free and fully sub licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from distributed and display such content throughout the world in any media
