While Disneyland Park is the usually the priority for families travelling to Disneyland Paris, its sister park Walt Disney Studios Park has a lot to offer and is definitely worth making your Paris trip a two-to-three day affair for.

Like Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Parks is also divided into separate sections – or ‘lots’ as they’re called here. The whole park has a fun Hollywood studio feel to it and each 'lot' reflects a different aspect of production.

The Front Lot

This acts as the park’s main entrance and it’s where you’ll find most of the shops and services, as well as the Earful Tower. The lot’s design is based on the classic studio entrances of the 20s and 30s, with beautifully classic Spanish architecture.

Toon Studio

This is definitely the place for Disney Pixar fans. With attractions built around Finding Nemo, Cars and Toy Story, your child will have an absolute blast. Oh and Aladdin’s Genie may even make an appearance…

In this lot you’ll find:
  • Flying Carpets Over Agrabah
  • Crush's Coaster
  • Cars Quatre Roues Rallye (Zamperla Demolition Derby)
  • Art of Disney Animation
  • Animagique
  • Toy Soldier Parachute Drop
  • Slinky Dog Zig Zag Spin
  • RC Racer
  • Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy

Production Courtyard

This lot revolves around the production of Hollywood movies, as well as their myths and legends. Parents will really love this area, but there’s also a lot to keep the kiddies amused.

Here you’ll find:
  • Hollywood Boulevard
  • Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
  • Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic
  • CineMagique
  • Stitch Live!
  • Playhouse Disney: Live on Stage!

The Backlot
This final area is targeted at older children and adults, mimicking actual movie backlots with its industrial design.

In this lot you’ll find:
  • Armageddon – Les Effets Speciaux
  • Moteurs... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular
  • Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
MummyPages Tip: Arrive early and head straight to Crush’s Coaster, which is really popular and does not have Fastpass.
