Attention foodies.
Bake Fest Galway will take place on the 5th and 6th of October in Leisureland, Galway. This two-day national event, in association with Goodness Cakes and ACT for Meningitis, is a perfect day out for all baking (and cake-eating!) enthusiasts.
As well as exhibitions, competitions and tasty treats, some of Ireland’s most notable celebrity bakers and food writers will be be showcasing their culinary talents.
Catherine Leyden (TV3 and Odlums), Patrick Ryan (Author and Presenter BBC2 ‘Big Bread Experiment’), Lilly Higgins (Author and Columnist) and Emer Murray (Goya’s) will demonstrate the skills, tips and tricks used to make the finest cakes and breads.
Bake Fest Galway is a family centred event with a strong focus on re-instilling traditions and time spent together when baking.
All funds generated will be given to ACT for Meningitis.
