Feedback for The BabyBox - the Bath Time Kit

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I have a big gap between my second and third baby, ten years big! So when I became pregnant last year November I was overwheled by the amount of new products on the baby scene! I came across The Baby Box that is so popular in Finland. I loved the idea of a baby sleeping in the box, it really intrigued me! Unfortunately I couldnt afford the box being a single mum and had to go on early maternity leave due to illness. I stumbled across the Bath Time Kit on my research rounds into the Finnish company. I loved this concept! Again , I had to prioritise and I knocked it off my list and I am very sorry I did, while all the same not sorry because I was chosen to review the product! Well, I love it and my 10 week old baby loves it! First of all its so complete! Bath robe and bath towel are gorgeous and are as soft as my babys bottom! Burts Bees!!!!! Unbelievable - au naturale! Perfect! As I have a bad back and bad knees its ideal! I have a knee pad now! The height level of the bath means I dont have to lean right down over the standard baby baths while trying to balance not letting baby slip! She can sit up with ease as she has a little soft pad for her back and a bum bump to stop her slipping! Being on my own can be tricky at bath time, I either have the standard bath on the floor ( too low down for my back and quite heavy when full - I bath her beside the fire so I have to fill the bath and carry to and from kitchen- also awkward to hold her with confidence while washing her) or I have the bath in the changing unit - this is where I mention that I am very much on the short side so that can be challenging to support the baby properly!! So the height and weight of the baby bath when filled to the fill line was perfect for me! Easy to carry, easy to fill, easy to empty and easy to bathe baby alone. Babs also loves it! She can relax more that she is resting on the back rest and she can see the fire while having her hair washed! What more could you want!! I feel if I had this bath from when she was born it would have made her feel like she was almost back in the womb! We love bath time now! It's become more easy and fun and less stressfull and painful on my back. Also I must mention I wouldnt be the most confident with bath temperature so the indicator on the little duck is brilliant! I would definitely recommend this product, in fact my sister is due her baby in March and the minute I got the bath delivered , before I even used it, I told her to get one! Maybe I will invest in one for her, because thats what the kit is, an investment for the first year of babys life. It's so complete having all I metioned previous as well as little clippers and hairbrushes and a sample pack of wet wipes(which I LOVE - au naturale again!) and after using it i was convinced! She has to have one for her new arrival! I'm sure everyone will have reasons for loving and choosing this Bath Time Kit but the selling point for me is that I am a single mother and this bath is just perfet for bathing baby alone with ease and confidence so yes I highly recommend this Bath Time Kit and I am delighted that I didn't miss out and what made my night time ritual sooooo much easier and enjoyable!

I first heard of the Baby Box very recently when Limerick Maternity hospital were on the news for introducing them for all new parents. I knew that the box itself could be used as a crib, but I didn't realise what was inside The Ultimate Baby Box.I was sceptical about using a cardboard box as a crib for my 4 week old baby, but it was perfect. It was sturdy and included in the box was a mattress, sheets and a blanket. Everything you need to made a crib cosy. She slept perfect in the baby box, I didn't have a Moses basket for this little lady, instead opting for a crib. I found she didn't sleep very well in it as it was big and open, the opposite of the baby box. It was snug and comforting and she slept for longer periods. The amount of products inside the box was astounding. From baby grooming to vests and babygrows, from nappies and wipes to hand sanitiser. The changing mat is always very useful. I have a changing table downstairs but now have a mat for my bedroom to pop on the bed and change baby without having to go down to the unit. Burts Bees is a favourite natural product, and I was delighted to see the mini's incuded, perfect for the change bag. The quality of the cloths was very good, they washed well and didn't lose their shape like some clothes. They are very soft with beautiful elephant prints.I love the big Muslims, they make a perfect, light breast feeding cover for when you're out and about. There is everything you need for baby grooming inside the tommy tipee kit, which doesn't take away the fear the first time you cut nails or use a snot sucker but it helps to have everything the correct size and shape for a baby. I would definitely group together with some friends to purchase a baby box for a first time mammy. It's a super surprise not knowing what's inside the box. Perfect present, perfect surprise, thanks mummypages.ie for selecting me to receive this super box. I wou;d highly recommend it to friends.

I cannot reccomend The Bath Time Kit highly enough. I am mum to 13 week old Imogen and I have been using it for a few weeks. It has completely changed bath time in our house. I also have a 5 year old son, Christian and when he was born, I used to bath him in the built in bath on the changing table. I remember having awful problems with it leaking and trying to fill it from the big bath to the changing table. It was so time consuming and very frusrating when you have a baby waiting for your attention.

This time around I purchased a baby bath to place into our own bath and I was using it for a few weeks after Imogen was born. But she did not like it one bit. I had to cradle her on my arm while trying to wash her and it was not very secure. I tried to do it as quickly as possible to avoid too many tears.
I also had to go to a few different shops whilst on Maternity leave to stock up on various products for bath time ie: shampoo, body wash, towels, sponges etc and it took up a lot of my time. Time that could have been saved and spent relaxing (which I should have remembered goes out the window once baba arrivesLOL) If I had only known then about the bath time kit.
Basically you get a beautiful bath, well shaped for easy access and comfort for the baby and a whole load of products come with it, everything you need when it comes to giving your little one a bath. The bath itself actually has a support seat in it for the baby to sit upright which is just fantastic, they can look around and see everything and are very safe in the water. There is a line in the bath you should not fill the water past, extra safe and it comes with a great foam kneeler to avoid kneeling on the bathroom floor for your own comfort.

It comes with a little runbber duck which also acts as a thermometer (amazing) and actually glows the word HOT when the temperature is too high. Talk about making things easy for us. It comes with the most beautifully soft towel and dressing gown, in a larger size to ensure baby gets lots of use from it, a little book for baby which will last until toddler years to distract them, the famous burts bees products which I have used before and cannot recommend enough. My daughter had cradle cap and I used the oil on her scalp before bath time and it cleared up in no time, she always smells scrumptious too :) You also get a little nail clippers and hairbrush and comb.

Since I received the Bath Time Kit, Imogen has loved going for a bath, She is full of smiles and loves sitting up in it. It's perfect. This is so worth the money and I will definetly be purchasing them for anyone I know expecting a baby. It will be an ideal gift. It has everyting you need, is beautiuly presented while extremley practical. My sister in law is already dying to buy one for herself and impending arrival.

I'd heard a lot of good things about the famous Finnish baby box so I was very
excited when I heard an Irish company were launching a similar product here.
I received the Ultimate Baby Box for my two week old baby girl and absolutely loved it. When it says it contains everything you will need for your tiny newborn, it really does. From nappies to wipes to clothes to bathing essentials and even a safe place for baby to sleep.
All the items in the box are well recognised quality brands, pampers, water wipes, burts bee, tommee tippee and many more. The burts bee set has all the things you need for a little baby. The tommee tippee baby grooming kit also has lots of essentials, hairbrushes, nasal aspirator, nail clippers and files and it is all in a handy little travel pouch.
There is a box of baby clothes in the ultimate baby box which is filled with lots of babygros, vests, little trousers, cotton cardi, hats and scratch mitts. They are so adorable and all unisex. The babygros are a great size, perfect for 0-3 months. Lots of baby gros I had purchased for my baby were very short andsquished her little legs up but these babygros were the perfect length and even have some growing room in them too. Loved the baby clothes!
The ultimate baby box also provided so much more like baby towels, bed clothes, soothers, muslin clothes, good quality cotton blankets and the cutest elephant baby comforter.
The only small negative I have to say about the baby box is the baby hats and scratch mittens are huge and would not fit a newborn. Apart from that, there is not one bad word I could say about this fantastic box of essentials.
I would hugely recommend the Ultimate Baby Box for all new moms, save yourself the stress of going through check lists and making sure you have all the various bits and essentials you will need. I would recommend getting the ultimate baby box a few weeks in advance of babies arrival so you have everything ready when your bundle of joy arrives.
This is definitely the ultimate baby gift for new parents and takes a lot of stress out of getting organised before baby. Thanks for bringing this fab idea to Ireland and for letting us trial it!
