The Killarney Festival of Music and Food, a family-friendly boutique festival, is taking place on Saturday, 27th and Sunday, 28th June 2015 at Killarney House Demesne.

Along with a first class music and comedy line-up featuring Duran Duran, Jools Holland, TEXAS, The Proclaimers and Paddy Casey, there will also be plenty for the kids including Kids Yoga, Musical workshops, Storytelling, an interactive mini zoo and the Exploration Dome.

There will also be a funfair with a ferris wheel, vintage carousel, wave swinger, chair o plane, dodgems and twist ride.

The Abracadabra Story Telling will see kids singing, moving, asking questions and inviting them to be characters of stories, while the The Animal Roadshow will be perfect for animal-lovers.

In the Exploration Dome kids (and parents) will be taken on a wondrous trip through our Universe in our fully immersive 360 degree Planetarium while  the Gymboree programs are specially designed to help young children learn and develop as they play.

Parents who are hoping to enjoy a few hours of the Killarney festival ‘kid free’ can leave their children with Festi'Kidz. This service offered by Last Minute Minders provides a minding service so you can have a few child-free hours while the kids are entertained with mask and kite making, arts and crafts, a science centre, dress up station and music making.

The picturesque festival site at Killarney House Demesne is within walking distance of Killarney town. It is ideally located for families who will be staying in the numerous hotels, guest houses, self-catering accommodation and campsites around the town.
