Galway City on ice is back this Christmas on the Ocean Site in the Harbour district on Dock Road just 200 metres from Eyre Square.
The main rink consists of 450sqm of real ice. This is a large rink but don’t be worried if you haven’t skated before as there is a handrail right around the sides for your safety. Many visitors choose not let go (at least for the first few minutes) and our experienced team will only be too pleased to offer assistance and advice on how to let go and enjoy your skating. There is a great sound system and a super light show to enhance the experience.

The Ice Skating Association of Ireland are working to bring skating lessons on real ice to Galway.This is an exciting option for those looking to enhance their skills.
