About

Leahy's Open Farm is a small family enterprise in Dungourney, just outside Midleton and Fermoy in East Cork.

It was started in 1997 by Eddie and Eileen Leahy who came from very humble beginnings on a rural Irish farm. Over the years, Leahy's has gone from strength to strength, and in the last year opened a digger park with real mini JCB diggers and a 'Big Drop' slide.

At Leahy's there really is something for young and old as there is so much to do! There is a museum which holds a plethora of antiques that Eddie and Eileen have collected over the years, as well as vintage machinery such as seed drills, threshing machines etc.

Each day there is petting time at 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 5:00pm where families get to see the animals, pet them and feed some also!

They have a whole host of different animals and species ranging from mice, snakes, alpacas to marmoset monkeys and everyone gets a free ride around the farm in the barrel train.

In 2014, Leahy's Farm recieved a certificate of excellence from Trip Advisor and are also ranked within the 'Top 50 Cork Attractions' on Trip Adviser.
