The DSPCA’s Great Irish Dog Walk, in partnership with PURINA, will take place this year on Saturday, 26th September 2015 in Rathfarnham.

This year’s event will launch the charity’s new Dog Nature Trail - a 2km enclosed dog walk around the perimeter of the DSPCA Campus with spectacular views over the Dublin Mountains.

The trail will let people experience the beautiful environment of the rescue centre, and is open to anyone, dog owner or not, to visit.

There will be lots of fun activities for adults, kids and dogs alike on the day with bouncy castles, face painting, games, fun merry-go-round, dog agility demonstrations, market stalls, dog grooming demonstrations and lots, lots more.

The aim of the walk is to highlight the suffering of animals and to help the DSPCA raise much-needed funding.

Those wishing to participate can register here. Dogs must be on a leash, with rules and regulations applying.
