5 fabulous and adorable facts about babies born in February

February has been a long time coming this year, even more so for those who are expecting. To celebrate the beginning of Spring we have come up with five fantastic facts about February babies that make them simply fabulous!

1. February babies are pleasant as can be

Great news for mums expecting this month, babies born in February are more likely to have a sweet disposition than most other kids, according to researchers from Hungary. This study on 400 people matched birth month with personality type. It found that people born in February have fewer temper tantrums and mood swings - a definite win for parents!

2. They are likely to be famous

 The Journal of Social Sciences published a study in 2013 that found that those born under the Aquarius zodiac sign (that’s January and February babies) are more likely to be celebrities. In another study by the UK Office of National Statistics, people born in February were found to be more likely to be artists - bring on the paparazzi! 

3. The leap year baby is rare as rare can be

The chances of being born on February 29th are so slim...1 in 1,461 (or 0.068 percent) to be exact. Though your leap-year baba might not agree at first, the rarity of being born on this day makes them extra unique. 

4. They might be extra-tall 

Babies born in colder months were found to be significantly longer at birth, according to a study of 21,000 children over seven years. When measured, they were also heavier, taller, and had larger head circumference later on. 

5. Creative creatures 

If your son or daughter is born in February, he or she might be artistically inclined and it has NADA to do with astrology! According to a British study examining the link between birth month and career, the most common profession for babies born in February was an artist!
