The idea of having twins is difficult to get your head around. Double feeds, double crying, double trouble?
Well, we've put together some of the top reasons why having twins is also double the fun!
1. Workout
You know that feeling when your arms are about to break when you are carrying your child for any length of time? Well, carrying one in each arm means a workout every time! Think beautifully toned arms and some seriously impressive guns.
2. Watch their relationship
There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a relationship form between your children. Being a twin is super-special and no matter how many late nights or crying bouts you have had to deal with, seeing them turned towards each other, sleeping with their arms tangled together, makes it all worth it. They will hopefully have each other's backs for life and that is a very precious thing.
3. HELP!
The great thing about having twins is that they are so SUPER cute that you will hopefully have a LOT of doting friends and family members offering to help. Accept it. There are no medals for martyrs. Work as a team and take all the help you can get. After all, it takes a village...
4. Get your mummy tools right
The best thing we ever bought for our children was our video baby monitor so instead of tip-toeing in and out of the nursery to see if our child was still breathing (neurotic parent alert!) we could happily sit on the couch watching their peaceful faces. 5. Accept that strangers will have zero filter around your twins
