It all started with a quick glance online at fashion trends.
Then, it snowballed.
Before I realised, I was hours into a style frenzy, bingeing on all the pretty things that we are obsessing about this summer.
So, we thought we'd share our findings with you, dear reader.
It would be a shame not to after our forensic investigation on the latest trends, styles and upcoming products from the world of fashion, baby and beyond. So take a break from the feeds and the school run, and have a peek at what's new, what's cool and all the things we are crushing on at the moment.

1. Alexa Chung clothing line
Ok, so lots of celebrities have a fashion line, but when it is Alexa Chung, you sit up and take notice.
This is one clothing line that lives up to expectations.
The line from the style icon is now available at Brown Thomas. Her debut collection has retro and feminine touches, high-waisted jeans and this stunning crochet dress (that's actually a top and skirt) It isn't cheap with the skirt alone over €200 but this outfit will certainly get you noticed. 2. Scribbles
Doodles - the new black, apparently.
That's according to fashion insiders.
Seem like if you want to add value to something, you scribble on it. Now, we are no Banksy, but we can't help liking the liberating vibes of this look. If we are being totally honest, since my two-year-old got her hands on my converse and decorated them with a bright red marker, I feel obligated to embrace scribbled fashion.

4. Nappy bags that are not ugly
We all know they have to be functional, but sometimes we prefer fashion over function. There, we said it.

5. Oomph those locks
Look catwalk ready with the Batiste plumping powder for your hair.
We ADORE this root boost powder which creates instant volume without backcombing. It is basically fairy dust for flat hair. We just sprinkle it over limp roots and massage with our fingertips. A little goes a long way with this brilliant product.
6. Watermelon Juice
Summer's here and what better way to celebrate than juicing a giant watermelon.
The children will love the vibrant colour and sweet taste.
It is seriously hydrating and good for you and looks impressive if you have girlfriends over for a play in the garden. Just blend chunks of watermelon (with the skin on!) and add a handful of fresh mint. Pour over ice and add a pretty straw. Refreshing and pretty and the celebrities LOVE it.
7. Hair Jewellery
We are major fans of the messy bun - mostly out of necessity.

These hot air balloons will look just gorgeous on your baby's bedroom wall. They are super easy to stick on too and don't damage the wall when it comes to changing things up when she's older. We think they are fab.
