OK, if you are anything like us, you will literally be itching for the release of The Lego Batman Movie (even more than your kids!).

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The Lego Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – Lego Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure.

But there are big changes brewing in Gotham...

And if Batman wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, he may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, LEARN TO LIGHTEN UP.

Now that is something we CAN'T imagine.

The hotly anticipated movie, which is not out until next month, has now been announced as the film which will launch Fantastic Flix, the Audi Dublin International Film Festival’s children and young people’s strand.

The launch screening is set to take place on Saturday, 4th February at Movies@Dundrum, with the added excitement of a family-friendly pre-screening festival party at the cinema.

The Audi Dublin International Film Festival’s Fantastic Flix conjures up the world of cinematic wonder for the next generation in its packed festival of children’s films from around the world.

Activities include workshops, short film selections, the Fantastic Flix Children’s Jury and other special events.
