There was a magical surprise at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital this morning, when the cast of The Helix Pantomime, Robin Hood arrived in character to spread some Christmas cheer this festive season among the young patients, families and staff.
This year, The Helix has teamed up with Temple Street Children’s University Hospital as its charity partner and on Thursday, December 13, The Helix is arranging a designated charity show in aid of Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, where ALL proceeds on the night will go directly to the hospital.
To date The Helix and TheatreworX have raised €23,000.00 for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital among its designated charity shows throughout their two year partnership.
Speaking on the partnership, Claire Tighe, CEO of TheatreWorX Productions said, "We are delighted to be teaming up with Temple Street again this year, and are confident of yet another full house on December 13 to raise much needed funds for this worthy cause."
